 Staff selection is of crucial importance and decisions should not be made on technical grounds alone, such as years of experience or professional qualifications. Our existing staff team have a varied range of qualifications and experience. All of our staff are thoroughly checked in line with our recruitment policy and current legislation.
Our commitment to continued staff training and development is crucial in order to maintain positive outcomes for young people. We have our own training officer and have a very comprehensive training plan in place for all staff, this also enables us to identify any training needs and address these quickly.
 Our staff rota system, and lack of agency worker use, provides our residents with a consistency that leads to good relationships and therefore reduces many of the negative dynamics associated with living in care.
